Custom wooden ramps built for those with permanent/long-term mobility challenges in households experiencing low income.

Story: Founded in 2003, SAWs builds over 400 ramps each year in Indiana. We celebrate our 4000th ramp build in 2024. Each ramp is customized to the slope and footprint of the home. We build for homeowners and when possible rentals.

Service Action Network of RSVP and Newwan

Organization: Western Indiana Community Action Agency Inc, Service Action Network of RSVP and Newwan Company
Service Action Network RSVP and Newwan Company are building ramps free of charge. RSVP is a part of the Senior Corps administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service. The Janet Sues Helping Hand Fund through the Wabash Valley Community Foundation provides funds for the materials.
