Rebuilding Together of NWA has three programs to assist area homeowners. There are many families who use all of their available resources for basic needs and simply have nothing left to maintain their homes. When their furnace quits working or their kitchen sink springs a leak or they suddenly require a wheelchair and cannot access their homes, they can turn to Rebuilding Together of NWA for help.

Mainstream Center for Independent Living

Organization: Mainstream Center for Independent Living
Description:

Mainstream’s Ramp Program provides access to and from home for people with mobility impairments. Mainstream coordinates this program with The AT&T Telephone Pioneers (formerly known as the Southwestern Bell Telephone Pioneers) and the City of Little Rock Community Development Block Grant Initiative. The ramps are built according to ADA specifications.

Ozark Mission Project

Organization: Lakewood United Methodist Church
Description: A group of teenagers is using the first weeks of summer to serve others. Instead of sleeping or hanging out by the pool, they are building wheelchair ramps, fixing roofs, and painting homes.
